I designed this chair for Render Weekly Season 2 Week 5: Ground Reflections. I used SolidWorks to complete the model and rendered the below photos using Keyshot. I used this mini project as an opportunity to practice creating realistic wood in Keyshot, an effect that many struggle with. I used individual maps on each part to replicate real life and created these near photo-realistic renders.
In addition to the complex wood material, I created worn leather as well. I used displacement in Keyshot to replicate stitches in the leather, a first for me.
