As part of my Keyshot exploration, I'm trying to discover the best ways to create unique and exciting materials. One of these materials is glowing hot metals. After studying a number of reference photos, I was able to achieve a realistic material in Keyshot, using default tools and some external textures from CGAxis. Being able to analyse how a material works and translate that into renderings is a strong point of mine, this study is a great example of how I use it.
My tutorial for this material is available on YouTube, follow the link at the top of the page to access my channel.
